roundtheworldflights.com

Who we are
Well we exist in a shop in Islington in London. (See the movie of how to get there from the Tube here) We're real: not some mammoth faceless corporation run from who knows where, and where the staff turn over is massive. We are real enthusiasts for RTW travel. We were the first RTW specialist on the web and we've grown through great prices, a great reputation and top service. That's why we are still Number 1 on Google. We've had many people copy us over the years but quite frankly they're just not as good. We don't hide our fares and we'll bend over backwards to make sure we're there to help when things are going wrong (something that does happen on an RTW). We believe in providing inspiration for your RTW and we're active in social media circles on Twitter and Facebook. We've sent over 60,000 people round the world now and we've had some great customer feedback.

Our RTW Concierge Service - Save up to £285*!

Your RTW concierge is here to help make your RTW adventure as enjoyable and hassle free as possible, as well as saving you time and money by offering you total support throughout your travels – the service is completely free, so the only costs incurred will be from airlines or other third parties (eg hotels or tour companies). This service is exclusive to ALL our customers! Here’s what your Our RTW Concierge Service can do for you:

  • Friendly help and advice on all your travel arrangements including hotels and RTW insurance
  • RTW date changes
  • Same day response when possible
  • Specialist RTW knowledge from the original RTW company
  • No administration fees – Our RTW Concierge service is free!
  • Check your itinerary online
  • 10% off our RTW insurance
  • Unlike others we are recommended in over 40 guidebooks including Lonely Planet here

How will our RTW Concierge Service help you? Well by saving you up to £285*
Not only are we committed to providing you with first class service during your world trip, we provide this with no administration fees! We have spent over 13 years learning all there is to know about round the world trips. And if there's one thing we've learnt, it is that no matter how organised you may be, something is bound to change. We have found on average, our customers require approximately five changes to their flight schedules during their journey at up to £50 per change. This could cost you around £250 with other travel companies, but with us, it's completely free! We also offer a 10% discount on our insurance for all our RTW passengers - that saves an additional £35. Thus saving £285 plus....
Ticket Changes on your RTW once you have left the UK
Changing dates can be easy. On your RTW you will be spending a lot of time in airports - this is the best time to plan and change your RTW. This is what most passengers do 99% of the time. Not on the phone (where service can be sporadic) but in person - Below are links to some of our more popular RTW carriers - they will give you the address of local airline offices.

Air New Zealand

Air Tahiti Nui
Alaska Airlines
American Airlines
Bangkok Airlines

British Airways
Cathay Pacific
Emirates
Hawaiian Air
Iberia
LAN
Qantas
Singapore Airlines
Virgin

Ticket Changes with roundtheworldflights.com once you have left the UK
So whilst most date changes are made by our passengers directly with the airline locally (and this is the cheapest option - especially when done with an airline at an airport), we do know that sometimes you might not always be able to make contact with an airline in person. If we can help you, and airline permitting, then we will do so gladly, but we will only charge whatever the airline fees are to change your dates. These can be found on your booking confirmation. Again this is on the proviso that your airline will allow us to do so.

Important Information
We will endeavour to get back to you ASAP (usually the same business day) and always within 72 hours. However please note that we cannot change any dates departing within 7 days – in that case you must contact the airline directly . Please also note that we are only able to change certain airlines, and that sometimes a booking drops off our system and becomes embedded within an airline system after you have left the UK. In that case you MUST contact the airline directly. There are some fares that do not allow changes - ( please see your Booking Confirmation for details) and there are also some cases where although changes are permitted with the airline, they cannot be made by roundtheworldflights.com after you have left the UK. In these cases you MUST contact the airline directly.

How to change
If you want us to change your dates, please email your consultant and cc in sales@gvillage.co.uk or experts@roundthewordflights.com with your ideal dates and advise how flexible you are eg plus 3 days, plus or minus 1 day etc. For security reasons we will not do this over the phone. Please include your roundtheworldflights.com Booking Number and the debit or credit card you wish to use for any airline fees that will be noted on your booking confirmation (with expiry date and 3 digit security number). If you do this when you are in a place where you are able to access your emails regularly then it will definitely make your life easier too.

IATA and ATOL bonded for your protection

The company has an Air Travels Organiser’s License (ATOL - 6283) granted by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). ATOL protects you from losing your money or being stranded abroad. It does this by carrying out checks on the tour operators and travel organisers it licenses, and requiring a financial guarantee called a bond, which is lodged with us.If a tour operator goes out of business, the CAA will make a refund to you, or if you're abroad, we'll arrange for you to finish your holiday and fly home. For further information please visit the ATOL website at www.atol.org.uk. The company is also a member and is bonded by the International Air Travel Association (IATA - 91257073), which allows us to issue tickets on our premises in Islington. All RTW airline tickets also include Schedule Airline Failure Insurance (SAFI) - which will be added to your invoice if scheduled airline flights are booked. RTW Travel insurance is strongly recommended at all times more
